I provide electrical installation, maintenence, PAT testing and electrical testing and certification for domestic, commercial and industrial clients in halifax, calderdale and further afield.
Domestic electrical work can be from an emergency call out, to a full lived in rewire.
As i am a sole trader, i can’t promise to always be able to make myself available for every call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but 9 times out of 10 i can so do call if you need someone in a hurry as chances are i can. Weekends or night call outs are usually not a problem.
If it’s a full rewire that’s lived in throughout the works, every effort is made to make the job pass with as little disruption and stress as possible. From always ensuring that at the end of every working day, all your electrical services are working and safe to laying every floorboard and carpet are back down and ensuring the whole house is cleaned. Also usually with a lived in full rewire i do enlist another electrician so the whole works are done in the fewest amount of days.
I’m also more than happy to do small jobs around the home too, a change of light fitting, an outside light or extra socket, fitting a smoke/heat or carbon monoxide detectors, electrical wiring to a new kitchen or bathroom, it’s all in a days work. I’d like to point out that i can also do outside lights when it’s not raining as well. Ha.
I also do burglar alarms and cctv if you’re after making your home or business premises more secure. Whether it’s just something basic to the all singing and dancing system that’s all linked together and hooked up to the phone to alert you when something has been triggered in your absence. There’s hard wired and wireless systems to consider, each with it’s own particular merits. I’m only too happy to work through your options with you to help you decide what would be best for you.
Extra phone line? Extra TV outlet? Extra satellite outlet or ethernet socket? Yes, i do do them too.
For commercial and business clients, again i’m happy to be called out for the smallest job to a brand new installation or remodel.
I also have several regular business customers that need regular maintenance work that include commercial premises, care homes and more industrial premises. That work can be general maintenance, regular PAT testing or regular improvements and remodelling, testing and certification.
As with domestic rewiring, if commercial and industrial work is needed to be done in as small a timescale as possible, outside electricians can be hired to ensure that is achieved. Also every care is taken to ensure there is as little disturbance to your premises and your own clients/customers.
PAT testing is normally charged per appliance but i am available if you only have a small number of items that need testing. On these occaisions a call out fee may be applicable but this is usually instead of rather than as well as the per item charge. For larger jobs there is no call out fee, just the per item fee. PAT testing only applies to portable appliances, not fixed electrical appliances i.e. a wall mounted heater is not applicable but a standing portable heater is, a cooker isn't but a microwave is.
