Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating, the electrical type as opposed to the plumbed kind, is economical to run, saves space (no need for a radiator) and is very good for heating the whole airspace of a room instead of one area. The downside is that it takes a couple of hours to get up to temperature but with a remote timeclock/thermostat, you're in complete control.
